Mystic Hippie Studios is a welcoming little corner of Bluefield where you can slow down, breathe, browse beautifully unusual things and explore wellness and spirituality without pressure, pretending or judgment.

You can come in for Reiki, shop the metaphysical store and apothecary, discover something made by a local artisan or simply wander around and see what speaks to you. You do not need an appointment to shop, and you do not need to believe any particular thing to feel at home here.

Meet Hilary

I’m Rev. Hilary Caskey, M.Msc., an ordained metaphysical minister and Reiki Master practitioner and teacher.

My approach is grounded, welcoming and practical. I believe spiritual and wellness spaces should feel human—not exclusive, intimidating or like you need to arrive already knowing the secret handshake.

More Than a Reiki Studio

Reiki remains an important part of Mystic Hippie Studios, but the studio has grown into something broader: a small metaphysical shop, apothecary, gathering space and home for handmade and carefully curated goods.

My Approach to Reiki

I understand that Reiki can feel unfamiliar at first. Most people didn’t grow up around anything like it, and it is completely normal to feel curious, skeptical or unsure.

You don’t have to fully “believe” in anything for a session to be worthwhile. At the very least, you receive uninterrupted time in a peaceful space where nothing is being demanded of you.

• Time to breathe, unwind and reset

No pressure. No performance. No expectations. Just space to rest.

Why Local Matters

Mystic Hippie Studios is beginning to gather in local artists, makers and wonderfully creative people. Whenever I can, I choose locally made, handmade and thoughtfully sourced items instead of filling the shop with the same mass-produced things found everywhere else.

The selection will continue to grow, but it will grow carefully. The goal is not to cram every shelf. The goal is to offer things with character, intention and a story behind them.

Come As You Are

Mystic Hippie Studios has always been about authenticity—embracing who you are without needing to fit inside someone else’s expectations. That spirit lives in everything here.

You don’t have to be spiritual. You don’t have to understand Reiki. You don’t have to be flexible. You don’t have to buy anything. You are welcome to come in, look around, ask questions and be curious.
